On May 14, 1967, fifty-one years after Sigma Chi first entered the "Land of Enchantment,"
with Beta Xi chapter at the University of New Mexico, Zeta Sigma chapter at Eastern
New Mexico University became the second chapter to be chartered in New Mexico.
